Jakarta - The Daily Chair of the Peradi DPN, R Dwiyanto Prihartono, handed over the list of Peradi advocate members to the Supreme Court (MA). The list of Peradi member advocates was received by the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Muhammad Syarifuddin.

The handover was attended by a number of Peradi DPN administrators including Peradi Secretary General H Hermansyah Dulaimi, Peradi Deputy General Chair Sapriyanto Refa, Peradi Deputy General Chair Zul Armain Aziz, and Peradi Division Chair Riri Purbasari Dewi. Submission of the list of members was carried out at the MA Building, Central Jakarta, Monday (23/10/2023).

"We from the National Leadership Council (DPN) of the Advocates' Association under the leadership of Professor Dr Otto Hasibuan as General Chair came to the Supreme Court for the purpose of delivering the member list book," said Dwiyanto.

"This is our part to build a better advocacy system. Maybe better administration and reporting," he continued.

Dwiyanto also said that the update of the Peradi member list aims to make it easier for the public to access information and the status of Peradi members. Apart from that, he said, the update aims to make people seek legal assistance.

“We must have compliance and management in such a way that it can be easily accessed by the public. "If it turns out there is an advocate who is not doing well, they also know where to report it," he said.

Dwiyanto said that the list of Peradi member advocates submitted to the Supreme Court totaled 48 thousand advocates. He said the data would be updated every year.

"The number we submitted data was 48 thousand," said Dwi.

"If it has been prepared, the next obligation is for any changes that occur, we also make adjustments and attend the Supreme Court," he continued.

Head of the MA Legal and Public Relations Bureau, Sobandi, said the MA had received a list of Peradi member advocates. He said the updated list of members was mandated by law.

"Earlier, the Supreme Court received the advocate register book from Peradi," said Sobandi.
